 SNOCRUISE VISITS TITANIC!!

Titanic (1912 to 1967) was originally named Mourey (1911 to 1912), named after a local parish priest. After the Titanic sunk in the Atlantic the Post Office applied to Ottawa, and luck would have it their application was received first and they were granted the name change. The town maybe could of survived had the Canadian National Railway built, made it that far. It turns out that the town of Carlton (1890-) became the end of the line for the now abandoned railway which had extended north from the town of Dalmeny.

Visiting the cemetery at the town site I thought what I had read earlier on the internet was correct about no other buildings or structures, but just when I was about to drive away I noticed many old log and 30's-40's sided remains in the trees. Enjoy!
