Know your needs and reserve your gear!

Snowmobiling and Rocks don't mix, many would denie that there is really a problem, but to clarify it, just ask them if they are footing the bill after you hit one!!

You will see on this map that the Nisbet Forest aka: No Rock Nisbet is made up if really a series of sand dunes.
As described on our lead webpage,
 an large area of "
delta silt" left over from a long long time ago. This delta silt just doesn't have a lot of rock in it unlike some other soil types. However down by the rivers at a lower elevation below the delta silt you do find some rocks protruding because of erosion.

ROCKS AROUND SASKATOON

Just a couple EDUCATIONAL snaps to show you why we like to take all our customers to No Rock Nisbet. Riding the groomed trail out of Saskatoon certainly helps.....but if you get the erg to head off the trail.........you are taking your chances.

Saskatoon area geology make up
. The Lime Green color is areas littered with rocks.  Thus if you ride near the city stay on the groomed trail!

A couple photos of rocks along the ditches north of Saskatoon, east of Osler.

In some areas you can physically jump from rock to rock for miles!

Maybe after smoking a few rocks you can go for one of the custom galvanized looks! Just another way for you to rust proof your favorite snow toboggan!

LEARN FROM OTHERS MISTAKES!

PLEASE

 RIDE RESPONSIBLY
