11:05 AM We are at the NE
entrance to Fort a la Corne and are missing a couple riders
|
 |

11:20 AM Minutes earlier I
called for the "rescue truck" and trailer that was thankfully
only 45 minutes away |

On the phone...somebody is
pretty disappointed that I miss applied a shim on a recently
installed reverse mechanism...if only we would of had a couple
good test rides... |
 |

12:11 PM Back on track we wait
for everyone to catch up at the forest entrance, again! |
 |

12:18 PM Heading in on Torch
Trail. |

12:30 PM We connect with the
Boundary Trail near English Creek. |
 |
 |

12:56 PM I am across the river. |
 |

 |
 |

12:57 PM Last one across gets
stuck on the ice. |

She's a 4 man job to lift her out. |

 |

This is the trail up off the river. Looking pretty hard to spot
from the other side with all the trees down. |

1:02 PM We pull over at the
lookout and we hear sleds coming down the trail! |

1:10 PM We chatted briefly, the
majority of the talk about this
"#%$ &" of a trail!! We said "you should of been here
yesterday!". |

This was a group of single
rider sleds most riding double. |
They
were not impressed with all the tight detours around the trees
and overall confines of the trail!!
 |

1:43 PM We exit The Fort a la
Corne Forest. |
