 We unload at Wingard and cross at the ice crossing.
|
 We are looking east across the North Branch. |
 And then I flew to close to the sun and...! We just got started on this adventure... and is someone looking at their watch!! |
 Huge bottom less banks on the top edge of the North Branch. Going to close to the edge could result in a pretty deep straight down drop down the valley side thru the trees! We will leave tricks like that for visiting mountain riders! |

 A classic rural farm home abandoned for many years. |

 Another old farm yard hiding in the trees. |
 On the west side of the North Branch at the Fort Carlton river crossing this huge off camber bank forms just about every year. |
 My pictures don't show it, but just to the left is pretty much a straight down drop thru the trees. |

Once we get 1/2 way down the old crossing you can see Fort Carlton. |

 Instead of pulling out the ramps we just back up to a snow bank at the hall. |
 No worse for wear and we are loaded and headed back to the city. |
