10:17AM We are fired up, we had all the sleds cabled together for the night.

We have coffee n toast in Choiceland and see sunny skies.

We pull a 45 and hit 'er

We cross over Bisset Creek and...

...wait for everyone to reappear out of the trees.

11:32AM Looking for a few more riders...loosing count how many?

There we are.
We wait for everyone to cross Bisset Creek, and we put the wood to 'er, I am humming
"RUNNIN' DOWN A DREAM!"

Back on the Hunt for the Whitefox!
-the old farm yard just off the river.
-and this end of the "Lost Highway" from 2010.

...This is a way to cool! The
Whitefox  border is fun, but be careful there are all kinds of ravines and drainage ditches draining the nearby fields to the low lands.

The snow is just flying along the Fort a la Corne.

We are following the rivers contours closely, every nook n cranny.

Powder next to the forest spraying up!

Everyone accounted for!

12:02PM Talk about a nice picture, the sun rising in the SE and the Fort a la Corne Forest behind us!

We find it, this is the yard site we pulled into off the river
in
 2010

This building is still standing.

It had been a goal of mine for many years to rediscover this old pioneer yard site on the edge of the Whitefox River.

This side of the barn looks OK but the roof is caving in.

Right behind the barn is the Whitefox River.

I do not remember it being so close, there are sled tracks down there, maybe a little early in the day to get trapped down on the ice!

Hey the accommodations gets a thumbs up... we will have to register with Trip Advisor to let them know how good it is!
M_ _ _ o are you checking Trip Advisor LOL!!

Talk about a nice sunny day out of the wind, next to Pioneer homesteads that were the homes of our earliest settlers.
A little
Ski-Doo...
...talk maybe? Yellow Fellows?

Everyone is enjoying exceptional snow and weather conditions.

3 x 700 = FUN!

OK, don't believe me? ...watch the video's!

Getting food into the cooker.

The hoods are going up and we are loading the ovens for lunch.

Many of us have our hoods up and we put food in our cookers old

We follow the Whitefox River for a number of miles...

The boys are get'n a little Racy here!

On our way back we check out a local lunch counter for patrons!

It looks to me like the locals made tracks when they heard us coming!

Nobody around but with the Whitefox in the background, the locals have likely gone for a swim!
...and then for second time in as many days
HERE I AM AGAIN!

 "LEARNING TO FLY!"

...and after we pull our arms off the bars for a few minutes of RE flection!!

The boys are get'in a little Racy here!

Then after watching our videos on the big screen I see this...this group of trees in the middle of a field,
...it will turn out to be the marker for the pioneer grave (s) site that we are looking for.
Nothing like a little scoot
Formula One  style down the Whitefox to get the food cooking!

Pounding Saskatchewan's Dry Powder drifts in the cattails like this, I am thinkin'
 "FREE FALL'IN"

We cut across a few fields when we see and acreage owner plowing snow.
We stop and ask about the cemetery that we had been looking for. The acreage owner is not familiar with a cemetery around here. We leave the acreage and within the hour we stop and try our chow in another old farm yard.

This house is buckling up from underneath and caving in from the top.

Debris inside.

This building is old but has been saved by a modern steel roof.

X marks the spot of this photo. Just after we climbed an aggressive river bank.

Our return to the 2010 farmyard and attempt to scoot
Formula One style was short lived. Trees were down blocking the river.

This is a nice sheltered yard to admire.

It looks like the woodpeckers have been having their way with this old house.

There's them Oops-skI guys again!

And we have the shitter!

Check 'er out!

Just like the Romans... on a smaller scale!

Yea ok, I am pretty sure I know where we are!
"50 paces east of the SHITTER!"
