THE BOYZ TEST 'N TUNE
January 21st, 2017

Another outing with out '17 Project
700 Blue Max

We pull in about 2 in the afternoon.

A nice old back road separating a couple of frozen water bodies.

Yea it is snowing enough that it is difficult to see any distance.

Yes snowmobilers do actually enjoy the countryside.

We swap secondarys, then, with the assistance of a wooden wedge I made to slide into the bellypan we changed weights in the primary clutch.
This made all the difference, now back to fine tune with our collection of preset secondarys.

A little video of Little Crooked Lake!

A couple more passes and you will have the ice clear enough to skate!

On the first couple runs we were over revving the engine.

We swap out the primary's 42 gram weights for 45 gram ones...
now were talking!

Set up for "the long run" the 141 picks up the front end nicely.

Any good engineer would call this a cute angle... what else from the drivers seat!

OK the food smells good lets go around the lake some more...

...after another clutch part change!

The stubble fields have enough snow, (and it is firm snow from this warm last week) to ride easily.

I am saying our original snow has turned into a good base, now this next 3 days of snow hopefully "tops her up!"

This "1.6" Cobra track is pretty aggressive.

SIGHTSEEING is one thing, but are you fit enough to participate  in a cross country snowmobile ride?

ONLY in SASKATCHEWAN!
