9:17 AM
On the highway we head to Duck Lake.

9:54
AM

Down town Duck Lake we discuss the cold weather action plan!

Max Temp: -19.4C Min temp: -28.1C

9:58 AM
With the sleds fired up we go in for breakfast.
9:59 AM It is minus 30, we have fired up the sleds so they warm while we have breakfast...
 141101V
...there is frost and steam and smoke in the air on this COOL morning!

Except a pair of handle bar hooks w
e have completed our 2013 Project sled  transformation from Bush Whacker to  SNOCRUISE Prairie Max 600.

11:14 AM
The sleds are warm and being unloaded.

11:15 AM Unloaded making a couple spins.

11
:25 AM Time for some orientation and suspension adjustment that will better suite the rider.

11:08 AM
We hit the open fields and meadows near Duck Lake.

12:29 PM
And the FUN begins!

Surely your guide wouldn't take you into deep snow...and get you
stuck!

11:03 AM Snocruising the meadows!
11:04 AM Snocruising around while some team members of our group...
 141102V
help others get unstuck in the dry Saskatchewan powder.

Someone stuck getting a push out.

12:37 PM
We check out a porcupine walking into the trees out of harms way.

12
:41 PM Frosty helmets.

11
:03 AM Enough wild life, time to snocruise!
.

12:56 PM
Heading across the fields.
And

1:02 PM
Stuck in this nice little hollow.

11:03 AM Looks like a wrestling match going on there.

1:21 PM
Out of the breeze down in a hollow we have a visit.

1
:27 PM Holy moly! Not a track as far as the eye can see! It doesn't get any better than this!

This is what we have been looking for all day! Time to make
Tracks!

1
:35 PM Stuck! No pain, no gain!

The team springs into action digging out the stuck SNOCRUISER
!

Extra help arrives.

I just about submerge this special edition
Yamaha XTC-P 700 snowmobile and one quick responsive tap on the go pedal and she's just about air borne pivoting on the agile 121!
121's are FUN!

1
:47 PM In the back country we follow a nice trail, but the deep snow has us off balance in the trees! Stuck!

11
:03 AM Three tries for a dollar!

1:51 PM
We stop to put together a helmet that has come undone.

Every one waits while I repair this visor which seems to  have detached it's self from an unusual excessive inside pressure!

2:39 PM With the visor repaired the team fires up and  we head out looking for our next snowmobile wonderland.
I think someone was not using the NO FOG properly and was aggressively scarping frost off the inside of there visor which broke it off the helmet.

4:11 PM Heading back to Duck Lake across the fields.

4:20
PM The oil light is on, meaning that the oil is getting low, and it is time to take the precaution and check more closely.

One lad wearing a neck warmer under his No-Fog, and we have one lad fogged up out of the whole group!
Here is the instructions one more time!
NO FOG masks
The Original NO-FOG
High Performance breath deflector

4:31 P
M Time to hit the deep powder hiding in the bulrushes!
4:35 PM The team is taking turns jumping Saskatchewan's FROZEN H2O...
 141104V
and in a very organized fashion, how strong team players would participate.

4:36 P
M Buried in the Bulrushes!
