 12:11PM We have fired up all the sleds and it is -31C! We have backed the load up as close to the forest trails as we can get. |

 1:02PM Geared up and full of orientation we head into the Nisbet Forest. |
 This I had heard was a problem up north, but didn't expect so many trees "bow strung" to the ground under the early October snow! |

 The small lakes are a blast with some windy ripples across its surface that put a little energy into the ride. |
 |
 |
 |
 |
 The near by meadows are deep and crystal powder soft. |
 |
 |
 |
 |
 |
 |
 More visible in the sun, the powder is so fine it is coming thru the grill openings melting on the pipe and coming out of the cowling like steam. |
