RIDE'N WITH THE BOYZ
April, 2005 

 A little water skipping in Nisbet, we catch the water forming under the snow before the sand thaws and it quickly soaks in. Did I have to replace my lower drive bearings a few years later...yup, was it worth it? Oh yea! Now if buddy could learn to take a decent action shot of me we'd be set. Water skipping!


So we hit Nisbet Forest at a crucial time, while the run off is collecting under the snow, and before the ground thaws and everything drains away.

Your first clue is the gentle "wave" going on under the snow after you pass over!

Then you ride it back and forth until the snow's gone!
 Water skipping 101!!

Several of these pics were taken back in the bush near the site of the Horse Cabin.

People have asked before "how do you get so high in the air", well ......ride at least an 700cc sled and hit the gas real hard going into the water!

This meadow provided hours of entertainment!

Skis in the air!

Talk about a nice Nisbet Day.

Eventually we stop to BBQ by Horse Cabin.


This picture taken at a later date was the last time we saw the cabin. Someone actually burnt it down without burning the whole forest.
