RIDE'N WITH THE BOYZ
March 28, 2004

We start off close the Fort Carlton.

After crossing the North Branch
...

...At the fort.

The Old Carlton Crossing...
then we travel for some time on the "Green Lake Trail"

Just checking the plugs after a change of jets folks!

At the top of this crossing there is always a big bank blown in just on the lip of the valley hill's edge.

After this air time, I think the "exhaust Can" came dislodged on Mr. XC, burning a little belly pan away!

We are stopped in the middle of the fields when a coolant hose sprang a leak on Mr. Edge XC 800.

A little air off the
HIGH BANKS near Shellbrook.

Full compression on launch!

From here we find our way to Shellbrook for lunch.

A little opportunity to get some needed air time.

If I understand correctly after this bit of air time Mr. Formula III had to clean his pants out!

A don't see any anti freeze spraying out, so she must be fixed.

We wait for the riders to make there way down thru the trees and cross the North Branch.

A small Steep Creek
outlet in the trees onto the river, hardly visible.

A break in the trees at the top where the trail makes it's way down.

The trail would resemble the capital letter "L".

One by one everyone emerges from the Nisbet Forest.

A slight detour to get up off the river at the Steep Creek
crossing.

With the warm and heavy spring snow, we pull up on the Wingard Ferry grid, for the last break.

Now the stories begin.

Every one has their snowmobile tail to tell!

This end of the road sign is suitable. Running with blown out shocks Mr. MXZ is just beat from the cross-country pounding!

SIGHTSEEING is one thing, but are you fit enough to participate  in a cross country snowmobile ride?

ONLY in SASKATCHEWAN!
