RIDE'N WITH THE BOYZ
FEBRUARY26, 2005

This ride is longer than usual, it's right thru to Waskesiu! We stopped at Elk Ridge Resort for lunch. At about 230-240 miles it was at least 25 miles past Emma Lake on the groomed trail.

Today's venue is cross country 80 or 90 miles to Emma Lake then on an extra 20 or 25 miles to the Elk Ridge Resort for lunch. And back

We pulled out of Macdowall in the morning and it's time to take a breather on a trail exiting the Nisbet.

If there was a time and a place to go 100 MPH, for miles on end this is it.

Don't let those
Saskatchewan  KILLER BALES get you!

Get a move on no leally dag 'n here!

At the end of the stubble fields near the Sturgeon River valley there is this little drop that can catch you at speed!

Beautiful rolling Stubble fields on the forest fringe area.

Those KILLER BALES didn't get me!

At Elk Ridge we had lunch. We have gone 185 KM's and we are only half way!

Some of the condos at Elk Ridge.

Ditch Riding
someone has slipped off the trail along the hiway just out of Emma Lake.

Oh yea the Bell Lakes section of the trail provided plenty of excitement!

Yea believe it or not, I knew I couldn't make the corner so I aimed for a snowy scrub pile and just jumped it, landing on the trail on the other side!

Just enough powder for a little carving.

Riding some rolling stubble fields near the Sturgeon River Valley.

A scenic
Saskatchewan
Sunset on the horizon.

Boy that XC SP is a good looking sled, and by ditching the factory plastic skis it handles like it's on rails.
