.....9:00AM Gooood Morning Sunshine! Man there was no contra virus 19 in Saskatchewan until it was announced the evening of the next day. Two weeks after that we hear of a public outbreak at the Christopher Lake poker derby supper. This was held on Saturday the 14th 2 days after we were in the general area. Turns out one of the servers may have been in contact with a snowbird, then serve supper at the lake.  How do you know and , when, now it is stay inside your home, End of story! And a fabulous Wednesday a mere 3 days after our last little storm, with the snow "settled" she is going to be optimum just like

"The Good Old Days"
or "Walk Away".

After a false start a few weeks ago when my sled starting shutting down we have....again (not for lack of trying) put another effort together for a cross country ride from Willoughby to the Lake Land area.

10:03AM Unloaded and ready to rock!

OK the electrics are 100% the clutches are freshly serviced, and the Sabercat's narrow track is tracking like a bullet out in the open on hard pack. For that matter I am pretty sure she was registering 90+ late in the cooling day crossing Scott Lakes. This is right in line with the data I have documented.

This is the first time I can remember leaving lake land from this direction eventually straight south towards Prince Albert.

We head for the hills and search out the small Eskers in Nisbet Forest

Hey have you heard of any corona 19 virus in Saskatchewan yet....? Well....

"In reflecting a couple weeks later, am I ever happy we didn't hang around for a couple pops!"

It is hard to imagine someone has brought it to some of the most remote part of the province that is booming with people.

Sno Cruising thru the maze of trails eventually we climb up onto the Eskers near HOLBEIN. This the site of a fire tower that had disappeared in a fire just after I saw it for the first time.
For a couple of us the last time we rode thru here together was on ride
99-09.

Again out of pure luck our next land mark is the North Branch.

The Old Crutwell Crossing

We came up on the crossing in very surprising short order. ?We often cruise around the Nisbet for a while getting our bearings!

We stop on the  Miners Creek for, of course, a relaxing little breather!

Leaving Miners Creek we hall the mail down the Miners Creek Trail, one small detour to
 Scott  Lakes  proves
 to be FUN!
I was waiting all day
 ("I was only Joking!")
for the opportunity to push my sled out in a smooth field or small secluded lake like this!

We roll into town and load up. One nice day and a big variety of snowmobiling from cross country to groomed trail. We cross countryed it a little exiting the forest, and ended up in country that I was not familiar with, and it was just a couple miles from our staging area.
